Foreign Languages Department

Through course work offered by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, undergraduate students gain knowledge of a foreign language and its literature. Students acquire language competence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students also gain a greater appreciation of other cultures as well as their own – and become more informed and productive world citizens.
